The Rustic Retreat has 2 bedrooms plus a loft and sleeps 6. Bedroom 1 has a queen, bedroom 2 has 2 twins. The loft also has 2 twins. The Rustic Retreat is the perfect cottage to relax and create great memories! There is a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, sink, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, cups and so much more! The living room has a new couch, large screen TV, air conditioner and hardwood floors throughout. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Knotty pine throughout the house has preserved this wonderful cottage! There is a comfortable deck with a patio table and chairs. The yard has a gas BBQ grill, picnic table and a fire pit for your use.
The historical Village of Lexington has quaint shops, wine and beer tastings, markets, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, ice cream shops, golf as well as live entertainment at the Lexington Village Theatre, car shows, art shows, a boat ramp, marina and so much more! During the summer, there is free Music in the Park every Friday night at the harbor. Just bring your chairs and refreshments. There is also food available. Have fun and dance the night away!
Swim in the wonderful clear lake, build sand castles, collect Petoskey stones, shells and lake glass. Gaze at the moon and the star filled skies over a bonfire pit in you’re own side yard with chairs. Gaze at some of the best sunrises and bright moon rises over the gorgeous lake. BEACH AND SWIMMING: Go right out of the cottage and walk to the stairs to Lake Huron. We have several beach accesses. You can walk past a few houses to the next beach access. Enjoy the beach and swimming at your own risk. There is no life guard.

$ 900 per week during July and August with a 7 night minimum (Friday to Friday) plus a $100 cleaning fee which includes linens. $150 per night with a 3 night minimum for Memorial Day Weekend, June and Labor Day Weekend. There is a $100 cleaning fee which includes linens. A two night minimum will be considered in June if the dates haven’t been rented within 10 days of arrival. Two night minimum after Labor Day Weekend through October at $150 per night plus a $100 cleaning fee which includes linens. A dog is allowed as long as you ask while you are making the reservation. The dog must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. If the dog has ever bitten a person or another dog, then you are not allowed to bring your dog per the Insurance Company. There is an additional $50.00 flat fee for the dog. You are responsible for any damage caused by the dog. The $50.00 can not be allowed to the damage cost or repairs.
50% down secures your dates and rates. Balance is due thirty days before you arrive. If less than thirty days, the balance is due when making the reservation. Thirty days notice for any cancellation plus a $30.00 cancellation fee. A credit will be issued to the original credit card used for the deposit less $30.00 for our cancellation fee.
