Each one of our cottages has a book of places to go, things to do and restaurant menus. Close by are golf course, miniature golf, bowling alleys, tennis courts, beach volleyball, parks, bike path, racquetball, scuba diving to 16 shipwrecks, fishing, charter boats, kayak and motorboat rentals, restaurants, brewery and winery, pubs, live theatre, vintage shops, pharmacy, grocery stores, vintage drive-in theater (between Carsonville and Sandusky 1/2 hour away). We also have a General Store, antique shops, museums, coffee shops, ice cream shops, donut shop, bakery and so much more!
Live Theatre all year round with live bands and entertainment. March is the St. Patrick’s Day week of activities and parade. May is the Memorial Day parade. June starts our weekly Music In The Park series through August. July (Saturday closest to July 4th) are the fireworks, our big parade and the Firemens Pancake Breakfast. We also have 5K races. In August is the Fine Arts Street Fair and Margaritafest! September is the Craft Fair and Classic Car Show as well as Bach Fest and Friends. October is always a fun event and the Halloween Contest. Girls just like to have fun at the annual November “Girls Getaway” during deer season. December is the tree lighting and the following weekend is the annual horse parade.
